From April 1 to 3 (local time), the world’s largest, longest-standing, and most influential event in the optical communication field — the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibition (OFC 2025) — was held in San Francisco, USA. As a global pioneer in the R&D and industrialization of optoelectronic devices and modules, Accelink made a strong presence at the event with its independently developed innovations and joint products created in collaboration with industry partners. Under the theme “Lighting The Terabit Future,” Accelink showcased its in-depth application of AI optical interconnect solutions, demonstrating a commitment to openness, collaboration, and comprehensive deployment across the optical communication landscape.
In the field of high-speed AI modules, Accelink’s 1.6T optical modules have drawn widespread attention since the launch of its first model, and the company continues to prioritize higher speed and lower power consumption throughout its R&D process. The newly unveiled 1.6T optical modules at the event provide innovative solutions for AI interconnects. In particular, the 1.6T module based on single-wavelength 200G VCSEL opens up new possibilities for ultra-high-speed short-reach connectivity. Additionally, the upgraded 1.6T OSFP224 module equipped with a 3nm DSP chip extends the lifecycle of high-speed pluggable modules, with impressive live performance demonstrated at the event.
In the area of green optical communications, Accelink integrates green and low-carbon concepts into its product and technological innovations, driving sustainable development across the industry. The company demonstrated the real-world performance of several optical module products operating in immersion liquid cooling environments, providing a clear view of cutting-edge thermal management and energy-saving solutions—drawing strong interest from industry experts.
Accelink is actively partnering with leading global brands to set new benchmarks for emerging distributed campus data center interconnect scenarios. In collaboration with Marvell, Accelink has launched the 1.6T O-band Coherent-Lite OSFP-XD optical module, which achieves transmission distances of up to 20 kilometers through optimized performance and power consumption solutions.
Accelink also debuted a new generation of high-resolution Optical Channel Monitor (OCM), which integrates its self-developed high-integration ITLA and ICR. Compared to traditional solutions, frequency resolution is significantly enhanced to the 1GHz level. Also introduced was the Twin 2×20WSS, a product based on Accelink’s proprietary LCOS technology. It offers multi-port, multidimensional control and superior cascaded filtering, with port scalability up to 2×22 dimensions—delivering excellent solutions for fast deployment of optical transport network services.
As the event concludes, Accelink embarks on a new journey. Dedicated to becoming a world-leading optical communication solutions provider, Accelink empowers customer needs through vertical integration and deepens collaboration with top global industry players, shaping the future trends of R&D and applications in optical communication technology. Looking ahead, Accelink will continue to focus on key industry demands, work closely with upstream and downstream partners to build a tightly knit ecosystem, and drive ongoing product innovation and sustainable industry development.
